Xander Hoenicke

Hello! I am a Massage Therapist that has been licensed since July of 2023, practicing professionally in Grand Rapids ever since. I graduated from the Academy of Alternative Healing Arts in Grandville, MI and can employ a multitude of massage modalities (such as Manual Lymphatic Drainage), but my massage style is primarily rooted in the Chinese Tui na style. This means that I focus heavily on balance within the body, and use a variety of techniques catered specifically to the individual in order to address each client’s unique needs.

As a neurodivergent person who struggles with chronic pain, I know how challenging it can be to relax both mentally and physically when you are on a massage table: my style is tailor-made to maximize your comfort and minimize your pain. My technique is slower, which allows the nervous system to calm down and accept the sensory input, but also firm enough that it feels good and is effective.

I am passionate about creating a safe and affirming space for individuals of all walks of life. EVERYONE deserves informed care, and I sincerely do my best to stay educated in a myriad of life experiences so that I may provide the best care I can for YOU.
